Trianz appoints Sanjeev Prasad as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Sanjeev Prasad joins Trianz as global CHRO, bringing nearly three decades of HR leadership experience across Samsung R&D Institute India, Nokia, Trilogy and HCL Technologies.

Trianz has appointed Sanjeev Prasad as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its global leadership team as the technology company scales its AI-led transformation business.

In his new role, Prasad will lead people strategy, talent development, organisational design and culture initiatives across Trianz's global operations. He will report directly to Sri Manchala, Chief Executive Officer of Trianz.

The appointment and mandate

The appointment comes as Trianz expands Concierto, its enterprise agentic transformation platform, across global markets.

The company is positioning its people strategy as an important component of this growth, with Prasad expected to focus on building high-performing teams while strengthening a people-first organisational culture.

Nearly three decades of HR leadership experience

Prasad brings close to three decades of experience in human resources and organisational transformation, particularly across India's technology sector.

Before joining Trianz, he spent more than 12 years at Samsung R&D Institute India - Bengaluru, where he served as Senior Director and Head of the People Team.

During his tenure, he played a key role in supporting the organisation's growth and talent transformation as the Bengaluru centre developed into Samsung Electronics' largest R&D centre outside Korea.

His work at Samsung involved navigating the people requirements associated with a large engineering and innovation workforce, including talent development, organisational growth and building capabilities needed to support research and technical excellence.

Prior to Samsung, he worked with Nokia, where he served as Head of HR for its Devices division during a period of significant transformation within the technology and mobile communications industry.

Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Human Resources at Trilogy, leading the company's HR function in India. He also worked with HCL Technologies as Senior Manager - Human Resources Development. Prasad is also a postgraduate of XLRI Jamshedpur in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

People strategy at the centre of AI-led transformation

Prasad's appointment comes as companies undergoing AI-led transformation increasingly rethink not just their technology infrastructure but also their talent, organisational structures and workforce capabilities.

At Trianz, his mandate will involve aligning the company's people strategy with its broader business ambitions while supporting talent and organisational development across global operations.

The appointment also underscores the growing importance of HR leadership within technology organisations, particularly as businesses navigate AI adoption, changing skill requirements, workforce transformation and competition for specialised technology talent.

As Trianz grows its Concierto platform and expands internationally, building the right organisational capabilities and leadership pipeline is likely to remain central to its scaling strategy.

HireRoute Take

Sanjeev Prasad's move to Trianz is a notable senior HR appointment within India's technology ecosystem.

His experience leading the people function within one of the country's largest R&D environments gives him a strong background in managing engineering talent, organisational scale and innovation-driven cultures.

The appointment also reflects a larger transformation of the CHRO role. As AI reshapes business models and workforce requirements, HR leaders are increasingly being tasked with connecting talent strategy, organisational design, technology transformation and business growth.

For Trianz, bringing an HR leader with extensive experience across technology and R&D organisations signals a focus on ensuring that its workforce and organisational capabilities scale alongside its AI ambitions.
