Ohmium promotes Sarah Roth to Chief Human Resources Officer.

Sarah Roth steps into the CHRO role through an internal promotion and will lead Ohmium's global people and organisational strategy as the green hydrogen company continues to scale.

Ohmium has promoted Sarah Roth to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), elevating the experienced HR leader to its executive leadership team.

In her expanded role, Roth will lead the company's global people and organisational strategy, with a focus on aligning talent, culture and organisational capabilities with Ohmium's growth priorities.

The promotion and new mandate

The appointment is an internal promotion. Roth joined Ohmium in January 2025 as Senior Director, Human Resources, and has since worked closely with the executive leadership team on people strategy, leadership development, talent management, organisational effectiveness and workplace culture.

As CHRO, Roth will lead Ohmium's global human resources organisation and advise the CEO and executive leadership team on workforce strategy, talent priorities and organisational development.

Ohmium said her understanding of the company's business and global workforce, along with her previous experience across HR and operations, positions her to lead the next phase of its people strategy.

A strong HR and operations background

Before joining Ohmium, Roth spent nearly four years at Veritas Technologies, where she most recently served as Director, HR Operations and Chief of Staff to the CHRO.

In that role, she was involved in HR programmes and strategy supporting more than 6,500 employees globally, with responsibilities spanning culture, executive strategy, talent development and organisational change.

She also led global HR workstreams connected with Veritas' 2024 separation and merger and, in an earlier role, managed a 35-member global HR shared services team.

Roth's professional experience also includes nearly nine years with Walt Disney World, where she held roles across operations, people management, organisational development, workforce planning, training and customer experience.

People strategy for Ohmium's next phase

The leadership transition comes as Ohmium continues to build its presence in the rapidly evolving green hydrogen sector.

The company develops modular proton exchange membrane electrolyzer systems and has a project pipeline spanning markets including North and South America, Europe, India and the Middle East.

With Roth moving into the CHRO position, the company is placing further emphasis on building leadership capabilities, strengthening its talent strategy and developing an organisational culture capable of supporting global growth.
